Bernard Kippelen Named Vice Provost for Intercontinental Initiatives

Bernard Kippelen, Joseph M. Pettit Professor in Ga Tech’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and co-president of the Lafayette Institute in Metz, France, has been named vice provost for Global Initiatives, efficient August 1. The research adopted the announcement that Yves Berthelot will retire June 30 just after 36 years of support to Ga Tech.

Provost Steven W. McLaughlin will provide as interim vice provost for Intercontinental Initiatives from July 1 to July 31. To aid aid the changeover, Iyonka Strawn-Valcy, director of World-wide Operations, will serve as interim senior affiliate vice provost from July 1 to August 31.
